Art 2: clay art
For my clay art I had the topic dessert. I decided to do cake pops and cookies. I decided that I wanted to glaze my art clay. The hardest part of this project was adding the chocolate chip to the cookie. I learned how to scratch and score.
Art 2: colored pencil drawing
For my drawing I drew a beta fish. I made the drawing zoomed in so less than half of the fish fits on the whole paper. I used prisma colors. I made large scales on the body of the fish and I used consecutive lines for the tails of this fish. I really like how the prisma colors help the fish colors pop and make them look more vibrant. A challenge I faced was that at first I didn't use consecutive lines for the tales of the fish. I fixed it and I also started with darker to lighter shade drawing the lines. I like the colors I used it makes the fish look better than my rough draft.

Art 2: mint and dum dum drawing
The dum dum drawing was made from colored pencil. I used prisma colors and regular colored pencils. Some challenges I had with the drawing was the little details the dum dum wrapper had and the folds the wrapper had. I really liked adding shadow to the wrapper with the prisma colors, it gives it a different look.

Art II: oil pastel project
During this drawing I learned not to start off dark on your colors. I learned that when using oil pastels you should add highlights first and add more color to it. What I really like about oil pastels is that it makes the drawing look more colorful and bright which makes it stand out instead of just one simple solid color. It was very difficult to make the highlights on the drawing. I am really happy with how my drawing turned out compared to my rough draft.

Paint project Art 2: the farm
For my project I had to research information about Grandma Moses. Grandma Moses painted a lot of farm landscapes with specific details like shape and color. I decided to paint a farm with specific colors like red orange and yellow for the sky, brown for the barn, fence, and windmill, and green for the grass. I decided not to add any farm animals although Grandma Moses did; I decided not to paint farm animals because it is risky to add something to my painting that I don't know how to paint. Something I learned from this project is adding different shades of color to make the landscape and sky pop. It was very difficult using the sun in my painting as a light source but I eventually figured it out. Overall this was a very fun project, I really like painting over any other form of art.

Perspective Project Art 2: The Tunnel
I learned several new techniques while working on this project. I learned how to properly use one point perspective. I learned how to properly shade certain shapes and figures. Some challenges that I had was that I had trouble making it look realistic; I can probably work on this by using different mediums and practice drawing different figures. I decided to draw "The Tunnel", because I really like train tracks and trees; I think that they have very pretty detail to them and they look mysterious.

Art History
For my art history project Amega Morgan, Ciara Robertson, and Kelsey Campbell were my group members. We re enacted Las Meninas painted by Diego Valaquez. this painting was painted in !656 in Prado Madrid. If we were to change something i would choose better costumes for our video and make it more detailed.
